A Book to Take Home

We proudly share new and gently-loved, thrifted books to make quality early literacy experiences accessible, sustainable, and meaningful for all families. Each family receives a new or gently-loved book to take home, inspiring a love of reading and helping to create your own home library.

Connection to Science, Nature and the World

Each month, the featured story is thoughtfully chosen to align with a broader theme related to science, nature, and the world around us. These themes help spark curiosity, encourage discovery, and introduce young children to big ideas in a way that’s playful, age-appropriate, and easy to explore through crafts, activities and conversation.

Sensory Crafts

We make easy, hands-on crafts tied to the story and broader class themes—perfect for little hands and big imaginations. Each session children will be able to complete two crafts that engage with the story.

Rhythm and Movement

Wiggle, sing, and play! We incorporate music that supports language development and motor skills, from classics everyone knows, to new songs your child will love! All children are different, and we support whatever level of movement your child needs, whether it's full dance participation or just observing.

Friendly Environment

Our sessions are relaxed, welcoming, and designed with the attention spans and needs of little ones in mind. If your child needs a snack or a break during class, that’s absolutely okay—we want everyone to feel comfortable and supported. Please note that we are a nut-free program, so we kindly ask that any snacks brought follow this guideline.
