Class Guidelines

Little Sprout Library, LLC – Class Guidelines

At Little Sprout Library, LLC, we strive to create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment for all children and families. To support this mission, we ask that all participants adhere to the following classroom policies:

1. Punctuality

  • Classes begin promptly at the scheduled time. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for check-in and settling in.
  • Arriving late can disrupt the experience for other families and may result in missing important parts of the class.
  • Out of respect for the group and the flow of the class, late arrivals may not be admitted more than 10 minutes after the class has started.

2. Respect for the Space

  • Help us keep our space clean, safe, and welcoming for all.
  • Food and drinks should be kept in designated areas only
  • We are a nut-free program
  • Please clean up after yourself and your child(ren) at the end of class.
  • Handle books, toys, and materials with care and return them to their proper place when finished.

3. Behavior Expectations

   For Children:

  • Children are expected to participate in a way that is respectful to others and the group setting.
  • We understand that children are still learning self-regulation; however, aggressive, destructive, or unsafe behavior (e.g., hitting, biting, throwing objects) may result in a temporary pause or removal from the activity.
  • Caregivers are responsible for supervising and guiding their child’s behavior at all times.

    For Parents and Guardians:

  • Please model respectful and courteous behavior toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
  • If your child becomes disruptive or distressed, please feel free to step outside briefly and rejoin when ready.
  • Engage positively with your child and support their participation during class activities.

4. Supervision Reminder

Little Sprout Library, LLC is not a drop-off program and does not provide child supervision. Children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult (18 years of age or older) for the entire duration of the class.

5. Policy Acknowledgment

By signing our liability and hold harmless waiver, and participating in our programs, you acknowledge and agree to follow the above classroom policies. These guidelines help ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all families.

Thank you for being part of the Little Sprout Library community!
